How long have you been doing weddings? 8 years

What is your favorite part of a wedding day? The reaction a couple has when I sneak them into the reception to see the vision with every detail and place is just breathtaking. They never knew if any emergencies or issues happened, they just see it all set up and they are usually speechless or cry and hug me for pulling it all together.

What's the big ticket item you think every bride should have? Videography! Hands down! PLEASE get a videographer! Pictures are great, but video is something you can feel the emotion and relive the day.

When not working a wedding, what do you like to do in your free time?
In my true free time, I'm usually curled up (read messy hair, no make up, sweats on) with a glass of wine watching The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, This Is Us or awful reality tv.

What's the one thing you absolutely can't live without? Cake, wine, my phone, friends, family, oxygen... the list goes on... haha. If I truly had to pick just one- God. I would not be where I am without my faith. My life has lots of ups and downs, but the Lord is my constant. I have been blessed immensely in my life and I was very fortunate to have great leaders and role models in my life that have shown me what it takes to truly be successful.

What is your favorite part of a wedding day? My favorite part of the wedding is when the bride and the groom see each other for the first time, whether that is during the first look, or as the bride is walking down the aisle. There is no greater joy than seeing the pure love for one another all over their faces.

What's the big ticket item you think every bride should have? A live band! Don't get me wrong, DJs are great and so fun, but I always love watching bands down on the dance floor with the guests as they sing or play guitar together. So fun to watch!

When not working a wedding, what do you like to do in your free time? I am a teacher, so I am growing the minds of the future leaders of the world!

What's the one thing you absolutely can't live without? I can't pick one, but I can narrow it down to two. It would definitely be my friends and family. I truly believe you have nothing in life if you don't have people to share it with. My friends and family have been my constant support and I can't imagine where I would be without them.

What is my favorite part of the wedding day? My favorite part is when the bride walks down the aisle. It's the look that the couple gives each other as they draw nearer together, and although the bride and the groom might have had their first look beforehand, this is the moment that all of the guests witness the two coming together. There's just so much emotion and joy in that moment.

What’s the big ticket item I think every bride should have? An experienced photographer is a must. This is a day that the bride and groom will want to remember and look back on for years to come, so it's important for the photographer to capture the moments in a way that the emotions and atmosphere of the day shine through in the photos.

When not working a wedding, what do you like to do in your free time? I've played soccer my entire life, so you will always find me out on the field. I also love the outdoors, and I find it difficult to say no to exploring new hikes.

What’s the one thing I can’t live without?
I can't live without smiling or laughing. I try to keep a positive lifestyle and always have a smile on because you never know how far that could go when interacting with other people.

What is your favorite part of a wedding day? My favorite part of the wedding day is seeing the way it brings families together. People come from all different walks of life, but there is such beauty in seeing everyone coming together to celebrate the couple.

What's the big ticket item you think every bride should have? For me, the big ticket item would be food and entertainment, either band of DJ. I love a good party and when people are full and dancing, they are guaranteed to have a good time.

When not working a wedding, what do you like to do in your free time? In my spare time, I love traveling; I love being outside and being in nature and seeing new places. When I'm not traveling, I love being home and cooking. My table is always filled with food, friends, and family.

What's the one thing you absolutely can't live without?  I would not be able to live without my family and friends. They keep me motivated and focused, but also encourage me to relax and enjoy life.

What is your favorite part of a wedding day? My favorite part of a wedding day is when the couple sees each other for the first time- that moment filled with spark and emotion during that second on their wedding day is like no other moment in life.

What's the big ticket item you think every bride should have? I always tell couples not to skimp on a photographer. A great photographer will be able to capture all of the important moments and details of the wedding day, and to have the ability to capture that and look back on it is always special.

When not working a wedding, what do you like to do in your free time? I love to travel to new places and try different kinds of food. When I am home, cuddling and relaxing with my 2 puppies is always the way to go!

What's the one thing you absolutely can't live without? I can't live without my family and friends. They are the ones who I know I can trust and count on no matter what happens.

What is my favorite part of the wedding day? I love seeing all the months of planning finally come to fruition and the complete design set up.

What’s the big ticket item I think every bride should have? A Wedding Planner! Don't let your family and friends do everything for you on the day. Let your mom enjoy the time getting ready with you in the morning, have your friends in the bridal suite having dance parties! Let us handle all of the details.

When not working a wedding, what do you like to do in your free time? One of my friends owns a restaurant in Dallas, so I am usually helping him out or watching a Cowboys or FC Dallas game.

What’s the one thing I can’t live without? Coffee! I drink it like it's water!

What is your favorite part of a wedding day? My favorite part of a wedding day is watching the formal dances: first dance, father daughter and mother son. I have seen a few mother daughter dances to "Mama" by Carrie Underwood and would be lying if I said I didn't cry.

What's the big ticket item you think every bride should have? Floral! I love flowers and seeing how much of a statement the right floral can make as a centerpiece or floral arch or even a floral wall just looks stunning.

When not working a wedding, what do you like to do in your free time? In my free time I enjoy hiking with my dog and boyfriend. Disconnecting from technology and exploring the world is my way of relaxing.

What's the one thing you absolutely can't live without? I cannot live without the support of my family and friends in any aspect I pursue in life.

What is my favorite part of the wedding day? The first look- it gets me every time!

What’s the big ticket item I think every bride should have? I think one splurge that is totally worth it is calligraphy- whether it be signs, invitations, table numbers. There’s just something about hand lettering that’s so worth the cost to me!

When not working a wedding, what do you like to do in your free time? I travel a lot! I’ve spent a good amount of time in Europe, or back home on the east coast visiting family & friends. I love small little weekend trips to new and weird places. I also spend an unhealthy amount of time trying to be Martha Stewart with new recipes and watching Harry Potter over and over.

What’s the one thing I can’t live without? Cake. Enough said!
